I think it’s great that you’ve gone to the trouble and effort of producing these highly detailed – and extremely impressive – 3D visualisations of this guy’s earlier drawings. Your renderings are totally faithful to the originals while adding the incidental stuff (like the London buses/tubes) to bring them to life. I first saw Sant’Elia’s drawings in an art book when I was a teenager and was just completely blown away and really inspired by their vision and the quality of the draughtsmanship.

Thank you Chris. The Walking Cities and the Citta Nuova are all that I’ve tackled so far. Next on the list – when I get the time! – is the work of Massimo Scolari, one of the luminaries of the post modern movement. I’d also like to visualise some of the paintings of Georgio di Chirico, but that might be an altogether tougher proposition!
Brilliant but do look at the new building now going up at Chartethouse School in Godalming….part of the architectural zoo on that site!

It is one thing to see a well drafted sketch, it is another to see a well-rendered thing. I do not know how to feel about the scenery… it is just uncanny.
